Ditët e Shqiptarit is a festival that strongly reflects the national identity, transforming Gjakova into a bridge between tradition and new national and international opportunities.

This festival aims to create a unique platform to strengthen ties between Albanians from all lands, through a mosaic of cultural and artistic activities, such as: music, film, thematic discussions, sports, a painters’ colony, Albanian cuisine, theater and many others.

The events take place in characteristic spaces of the city, including the large stage in the Old Bazaar, the amphitheater in the “Ali Podrimja” park, the Jupa Bazaar, the plateau by the Krena River, the Drithit Lama and the Village Bridge.
The first edition of the festival proved an extraordinary success, not only meeting the anticipated objectives, but exceeding expectations, positioning Gjakova as a key destination for cultural tourism and experience for the entire Albanian space.

The festival brought together citizens and visitors in an invigorating atmosphere, filled with culture, tradition, and a strong sense of community.
